Teaching Method & Techniques:
I believe in a hands-on, project-based approach that mirrors real-world industry practices. Lessons are interactive, where students actively apply techniques through practical exercises. I break down complex concepts like masking, motion tracking, and color grading into simple, digestible steps. My goal is to make advanced editing techniques feel intuitive and accessible, even for beginners.
I utilize screen sharing, live editing demos, and guided practice sessions to ensure that students not only understand the software but can execute creative projects with confidence. I also encourage students to work on their own projects during the course, offering personalized feedback and suggestions for improvement.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction to the Topic: Brief explanation and context (e.g., color grading, visual effects).
2. Live Demonstration: I showcase the process step-by-step in real time using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
3. Hands-On Practice: Students replicate the technique with my guidance, working through challenges.
4. Review & Feedback: We assess the student’s progress, offering specific advice to refine their skills.
5. Q&A & Homework: Students are encouraged to ask questions, and I assign creative tasks to reinforce the lesson.
