About Quinndaline
I spent years 6 through 16 learning directly under author Michael Clay Thompson outputting multiple 2-3 page papers per week as early as 10 years old. I am currently 19 and a student at Rochester Community & Technical College, actively working towards my associate's in computer science & eventually web design. I spend the majority of my free time working on writing-based game design documents, creative writing, and article writing. English skills have always been a part of my life but I will never be found attributing my skills or the skills of another writer as being talent. All great writers, like all of my students, must work towards building a skill set that enables them to create great writing. Nobody is born with immaculate language or perfect grammar, these are skills which I have earned and enjoy helping others learn. Four years as a game and writing coach further enforce my desire and enjoyment for teaching others as well as my strong communicative skill set. There are few greater joys than seeing students become not only comfortable with the taught skills, but also gain mastery and enjoyment from actively using them.

Writing techniques and tricks can quickly build up a writer's skill set and confidence. I first learn the unique skills, needs, and mindset of my students before giving them tools and techniques which fulfill their needs. Giving writing primers as needed alongside paper reviews, proofreading, and stylistic tips to further reinforce a strong writing skill set. My students are held accountable for completing tasks and finishing homework with healthy work and writing patterns that ensure consistent high-quality writing. Whether my student is working on a short essay or a research paper, I ensure that needed tools and techniques are always present and understood during lessons. I not only believe that anyone can write, but that anyone can write well, enjoy the process, and gain an arsenal of valuable writing skills while taking my lessons.
