About Rhys

I am a recent graduate from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2015, and I am offering my services to help students improve their confidence, grades and abilities in Math, Chemistry, and Physics.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are to first improve the students understanding of the base concepts behind the material and questions they are answering. Once their base knowledge has improved, we can better tackle the specific questions at hand. This is not "teaching to the test," where their skills are only helpful to pass. This will improve their understanding and approach to all subjects, and should naturally improve grades as a result.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Rhys.

Rhys's response
Alex is a great student, he studies hard and works through problems on his own time to ensure that he is prepared. I suggest that Alex focuses on theory so that he can step back a little and view the entire problem, before moving in to solving problems using equations
