As a magna cum laude History graduate from the University of San Diego and an incoming Master of Education student, I bring both academic excellence and a deep passion for teaching. About the lesson

My approach as a tutor centers on making Social Studies engaging, relatable, and student-driven. I use a mix of guided discussion, real-world examples, and active questioning to encourage critical thinking and connection to the material. A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by interactive instruction tailored to the student’s current curriculum or goals—whether it’s improving essay writing, preparing for an AP exam, or understanding complex historical concepts.
