About Ellis
My name is Ellis Pearson, and I graduated from Chapman University in Orange, California. I majored in Communication and minored in English. Through both disciplines, I have gained a significant amount of experience with both logical and creative writing. As an avid reader, I enjoy stories and seeing how different authors piece together their creations into one cohesive story. I strive to help people appreciate reading, writing, and the English language as a whole while also strengthening their skills in this amazing subject.

My lessons focus particularly on reading and writing, with a secondary emphasis on vocabulary. Students will delve into work that is both fiction and nonfiction, and understand what makes a story, a paper, and even a paragraph stand out. In addition, students will then be able to regularly apply what they have learned to help enhance their own unique writing style.
