About Emily
Having really enjoyed English at school and essay writing at University, I want to teach this subject and pass on these skills. During my GCSE studies, I had a really engaging English teacher who illustrated to me what a great subject English can be, this transformed my English skills, and subsequently, I achieved 9s in both English literature and language. She taught me skills that helped me succeed from GCSE all the way to University and I want to do the same for other students.

My lessons would be student-led allowing the student to highlight the areas they particularly need help in. From this, I‘ll tailor the lesson to suit them and to give them the tools they can use outside of the lesson. In addition, my lessons will be fun, showing the exciting and creative side to English.
