About Amy
I have recently started a job at my local paper and hope to take on a couple of students part-time alongside this role. I have a passion for helping others and enjoy seeing improvements in my students; I find it really rewarding to work with students on the parts of their curriculum that they find difficult and seeing the results once they overcome the parts of English that they find most difficult.

After three years of studying English at a top Russell group university, I have gained writing experience in a variety of essay styles, including comparative literature, creative writing, business reports and academic writing. I am an extremely confident editor and have experience giving feedback on dissertations and academic essays for a variety of subjects. I am happy to work with students on any areas of their writing/ topics that they want to improve on and create a comfortable and safe space for learning and helping students to achieve to the best of their ability. I am equipped in aiding students at every skill level in improving their writing and understanding of the subject of English, working closely on any areas they may be struggling with and helping to improve essay writing in general. I studied both English literature and language at A Level, as well as Psychology, achieving As in all of these subjects.
