About Haajar
Hi, I’m a year 13 A-Level student with a passion for Maths and teaching. I achieved Grade 8s in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths and am currently predicted an A* in A-Level Maths. Having recently gone through the same exams, I understand exactly what’s required to succeed and how to approach revision effectively. I’ve already gained experience tutoring GCSE Maths and know how to explain complex topics in a simple, clear, and engaging way. I’m confident working with students of all abilities and always tailor my lessons to suit the individual’s pace and learning style. I’m friendly, patient, and professional in my approach. My aim is to build confidence, improve understanding, and help students achieve the results they’re aiming for. Lessons are available online or in person (in Blackburn). I’m familiar with all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and up to date with the latest specifications and exam techniques.

As someone who has recently completed their A-Level studies, I understand the pressures of exams and how to tackle them effectively. I tutor GCSE Maths, GCSE Further Maths, and A-Level Maths for students of all abilities, whether you're looking to build a strong foundation or aim for top grades. Each lesson typically lasts 1.5 hours, which allows enough time to explain topics thoroughly, practise exam-style questions, and review progress. My teaching style focuses on three core strategies: - Step-by-step walkthroughs of exam-style questions to build understanding - Thorough practice of past paper questions to reinforce learning - Targeted revision on weak areas to boost confidence and performance I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and am familiar with major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. I achieved a Grade 8 in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths, and I’m predicted an A* in A-Level Maths.
