As a tutor I would like to help all people explore creative writing. I have lesson plans for both kids in middle school to high school, and those in college and after. The difference between these two lesson plans are the accompanied readings.
I begin each session with a free write which introduces the theme of the creative writing technique, such as point of view, voice, mood, and imagery to name a few. I include a short story to read as an example as well.
We will also revise together and learn fun revision techniques.
I work in both fiction and poetry.
I enjoy writing myself as an author and am currently in the process of being a creative writing teacher. I enjoy helping others explore their own stories.
