About Skye-Elisse
Hi, I’m a university student with a strong background in English Language and Literature. I studied English at both GCSE and A-level, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others improve their reading, writing, and confidence in English.
I want to teach because I’ve seen how the right support can make a real difference, especially for younger and international students who may feel unsure expressing themselves. I enjoy breaking things down clearly and helping students grow at their own pace in a supportive, encouraging environment.
My goal is to help you feel more confident using English, whether that’s for school, exams, or everyday communication.

I take a student-focused and supportive approach to teaching English, adapting each lesson to the learner’s level and goals. I focus on improving reading, writing, grammar, and overall confidence through clear explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility where needed.
I completed English Language and English Literature, achieving two Grade 5s, and also studied English Literature at A-level. In my spare time, I have experience helping younger students particularly international students improve their reading and writing skills, with an emphasis on clarity, structure, and confidence in English.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, including school-aged students and international students seeking extra support in English.
