Paul is an excellent director who leads with humor and provides clear, specific feedback! I absolutely loved having him as a theatre teacher and director for four years of high-school and would recommend him to anyone looking for a kind, quick-witted acting teacher or director. One of my favorite experiences with Paul is the time he directed me in a production of The Man Who Came to Dinner. I still appreciate how he was able to give precise adjustments to even the smallest of comedic moments without ever losing sight of the play as a whole and the overarching story. Paul is a wonderful collaborator, values a people-first approach, and has a great knack for balancing comedy with more tense, dramatic moments in theatrical pieces. Would highly recommend!!!

My work with Paul (or Mr. Revaz, as I know him!) has helped shape and ground me as an artist and performer. He was one of the first directors I encountered after deciding for myself that I wanted to work professionally down the road, and almost instantly picked up on the fire that had been lit within me. He saw how ready and willing I was to work hard and learn as much as I could, and helped provide me with skills to channel this energy into something clear and powerful that could be expressed in my performance. His approach as a director encouraged his actors to build character and find story through lenses they often don’t even realize they’re capable of seeing through. Personally, the most transformative thing he helped me understand as an actor was how much freedom can be found in the work we do. He helped me understand that the sooner you get past “right” and “wrong”, and any worry about making mistakes, the stronger you will get in all of the work you do as an actor.
