About Karen

I've been teaching English as a second language since January, 2020 after retiring from a long career in law. I have my TEFL certificate and have now taught more than 400 students, receiving very positive reviews from them. My average score is 9.83 out of 10. I have myself been a frequent public speaker, with hundreds of appearances on stage, on radio and on TV. My diction is excellent and I know how to help you pronounce difficult sounds and improve your accent.

About the lesson

All of my classes are online. I teach all levels, from elementary school to adults. My strength is my ability to listen carefully and discern what obstacles are standing in my students' way, then decide which technique to use to successfully address that problem. I am friendly, patient, and creative in devising teaching techniques that will work for almost any student.
