About Daniel
Hi i'm Daniel. I'm 39 years old and live primarily between New York City and Hawaii but travel quite regularly to surf and teach around the world!
I was born in Sydney, Australia and grew up in Huntington Beach California, where I finished high school. I studied Art with a focus on Film and Painting in San Francisco and have worked in Film/TV for the past 20 years all throughout the United States on shows like The Walking Dead, Sex in the City, HGTV, and all kinds of movies. Working in the Film industry is amazing but can be inconsistent at times. When I was 20 I was offered an English as a second language teaching position in Japan where I was living when I realized how much I loved helping people learn something that I took for granted being able to do so naturally.

Lessons will be all conversational via webcam. I find that the easiest way to learn is by speaking with native speakers. We go over you're basic knowledge as well as your goals including how you would like me to help and how quickly you are looking to advance. Depending on these factors we will build a program that works best for your style of learning. If you are also looking to develop your writing that is definitely something we can focus on as well.
