About Victoria
I am a second-year family medicine resident physician. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Edward's University, Human Anatomy Specialization certification from the University of Michigan, and medical degree from The University of the Incarnate Word School of Medicine. I learned by breaking complex topics into easily digestible pieces and looking at things from different points of view. I am a visual learner, so I draw (pretty much everything) out. I began tutoring in high school and fell in love with helping students find a way to use their strengths to overcome their learning obstacles. During college, I worked as a student tutor specializing in introductory and advanced Biology, Human Physiology, academic and scientific writing, and academic coaching. While I enjoy all the subjects I tutor, I am most passionate about Academic Coaching.

During high school, I struggled to simply keep up with my courses, much less "succeed". It wasn't until college that I learned how to study appropriately, determine and utilize my own learning style, manage my time, and succeed in my courses. I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help my students develop these skills and succeed earlier in their academic careers. I am a strong believer in the adage, "think smarter, not harder"!

I trust Victoria to teach my children in advanced biology. They want to be doctors or something and need to do well in school so I knew they needed someone who could set them up for success. Victoria has done exactly that and brought them nothing but honors since she started teaching them. I’m grateful for her hard work and recommended her to some friends in a similar boat.
Victoria is a very good teacher. She has excellent communication skills and she takes time to listen to her students and help them individually. She demonstrates great passion for her practice. I would highly recommend Victoria.
She is very knowledgeable, kind and communicates information in an impeccable manner. I felt very comfortable and satisfied with Victoria. Can’t recommend enough!!! She’s fabulous, transparent and trustworthy.
She really helped my high schooler out with his biology and chemistry. He was struggling and now has As in his classes.
