About Dean
- Received excellent results with my students from the new Economics specifications (across all exam boards) happy to bring these to the initial lesson.
- I am an experienced private tutor from the University of Manchester (Russell group) where I received a full scholarship to study my bachelors degree in Economics.
- Currently work as a full time private tutor. I used to work as a Senior analyst for a global accountancy firm, where I studied the CIMA accounting qualification.
- I am a well experienced and qualified tutor who prides himself on getting students their desired results by developing their confidence, understanding and technical ability.
- I have well structured tutor sessions including SMART targets and additional bespoke homework tasks that really do get the best out of students.
- 11 years worth of tutoring experience. I am currently a member of several of the top tutoring agencies and currently teach regular students at all levels. Having taught over 70 students from 6 years old to 40 years old.
- Expert on the UK curriculum across all examining boards.
- Helped numerous foundation level GCSE candidates achieve that all important C grade. Having taken one student from a predicted D to a B grade over 6 weeks of tuition.
- Tutored numerous students through their A level studies, proof reading and critiquing UCAS personal statements, helping them all achieve the necessary grades in my subject field to go on to Russel group universities.
- Prepared 10 students for grammar school entrance exams, helping them attain places at Tiffin and The Manchester school.
- I am a diligent and professional tutor who understands the importance of all students developing a solid grounding in Mathematics as well as its real life application in the modern business world and career arena. I have seen first hand the progression and opportunity that awaits those who succeed academically in this area and im incredibly passionate about passing on this knowledge and helping others achieve the same. I love helping students achieve their full potential and find it very rewarding when they achieve goals that they have worked hard for and the following successes it brings them.
