I have 40 years experience helping ESL and American undergraduate and graduate students improve their composition skills at all levels and their understanding of and writing about literature. Hundreds of my students have gone on to graduate school and successful careers in many fields.

I meet students at their current levels to help them improve on their weaknesses and increase on their strengths. I encourage students to do their preparation to allow us to work together most effectively. I break down skills into their smaller, simpler component parts to allow students to focus on small tasks in order to build up to larger, more complex skills. I ask students to try their best and therefore am accessible in order to support their efforts.
