I am a certified educator with degrees in psychology and Russian philology. Teaching since 1995.

My approach is based on teaching and development, integrating contemporary language techniques with learning psychology. The lesson structure usually includes these key parts:
1. Diagnostic assessment of current level;
2. Targeted skill work (grammar, speech, literature analysis) based on students' interests;
3. Interactive exercises with real-time feedback;
4. Optional homework for systematic and consistent practice.
I have 25+ years of experience teaching Russian as a native and foreign language, literature, business communication, and creative workshops, designing and implementing programs for gifted children. My students have won Olympiads and academic conferences in Russian language and literature.
Classes are for bilingual children and elementary school through adult learners. For learners seeking lessons on Russian fluency (native or foreign), italic handwriting lessons, rhetorical skill, or literary depth. Mostly individual format, online classes only.

I have known Lara for many years as I used to be one of her students and recently got back into learning Russian a few months ago. I have learned a lot with her. I find it easier to form a sentence compared to when I started, when I could only say hi. (Although it's still challenging - I am still learning after all!) Lara is calm and patient with me when learning, and I can tell she's very interested in teaching me. She puts time and a lot of effort into helping me understand, which I'm very grateful for! In the past few months, I've been learning cursive and grammar, together with new words and how to use them in phrases.
