About Bryce

Welcome! I’m Bryce, your dedicated test prep expert and academic coach. With nearly a decade of experience working with hundreds of high school students, I specialize in SAT, ACT, PSAT, and college admissions guidance. Many of my students have improved their scores by over 200 points and gained admission to their top-choice schools. I hold a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Miami, where I mentored students in the Herbert Business School for 3 years. My approach combines proven strategies, personalized attention, and data-driven insights to help you achieve measurable results. You’ll have access to 11 full-length practice tests and over 3,000 practice questions, along with real-time tracking of your progress. I analyze your performance in detail to create customized homework that targets exactly where you need the most improvement — whether it’s two-variable equations in math or punctuation in writing. My teaching style is patient, empathetic, and focused on building your confidence every step of the way. Together, we’ll develop the skills, mindset, and strategies you need not just to succeed on tests, but to excel academically and beyond. If you’re ready to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to guide you with professionalism, care, and expertise.

My Approach as a Tutor

I believe every student learns best when they feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of their own learning journey. My teaching philosophy centers on empathy, patience, and clear communication, allowing students to build both academic skills and personal confidence. I don’t just help students memorize facts or strategies; I guide them to understand why methods work and how to apply them flexibly in real exam or classroom situations.

Teaching Method and Techniques

I use a personalized, student-centered approach that adapts to each learner’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Whether working on SAT or ACT prep, or college admissions essays, I combine:

Diagnostic assessments to identify key areas for improvement

Step-by-step strategy building for tackling questions efficiently and accurately

Practice with real, timed tests to develop pacing and stamina

Skills development in critical thinking, reading comprehension, and writing clarity

Mindset coaching to reduce anxiety and build motivation

I also incorporate tools like annotated practice problems, interactive discussions, and customized homework to reinforce learning between lessons.

Practice Tests, Metrics Tracking, and Tailored Homework

As part of my SAT prep program, I provide students with exclusive access to 11 full-length practice tests and over 3,000 practice questions covering every section of the exams. This extensive resource library helps students become thoroughly familiar with the test format and question types while building endurance and confidence.

What truly sets my approach apart is my ability to actively track each student’s performance metrics across specific sections and question types. By analyzing their results, I pinpoint exactly where they need improvement—whether that’s mastering two-variable equations in math or correctly using commas in grammar.

Based on these insights, I design customized homework assignments that target their areas of growth, ensuring focused practice that drives measurable progress. This data-driven method keeps lessons efficient, personalized, and results-oriented.

Typical Lesson Plan

Each session usually starts with a quick review of previous material and homework to check understanding. We then focus on a targeted skill or topic, such as algebraic functions, reading strategies, essay structure, or test-taking techniques. I provide clear explanations and examples, followed by guided practice where the student applies what they’ve learned with my support.

Lessons end with actionable feedback and a personalized plan for independent practice until the next meeting. For test prep students, I include periodic full practice tests to track progress and adjust our focus.
