About Jake
Hey, I'm Jake, a computer science student who also has a passion for teaching the SAT. As a high school student I realized the SAT is not a measure of intelligence but a measure of how well you take the test. Since then I have worked effortlessly to uncover the secrets the college board is hiding from students taking the SAT. My strategies have helped many improve.

Despite what many think the SAT is not a measure of intelligence. It only test you on how well you can take the test. I performed poorly on my first few practice test; however after a couple of months I realized that each test follows the same standards, meaning that the SAT is a consistent test. Think about it like this: each test has questions that are asked nearly identical, but with different content. After understanding this, I was able to achieve a score in the 99%.
The trick to mastering the Math and the English sections is to understand that there is only ONE right answer. This means that 3 are COMPLETELY wrong. SAT prep books and most tutors tell you to choose the best answer because they believe that there are multiple possible answers when in reality there is only ever ONE. The College Board (aka the creators of the test) want you to believe the same thing so they can trick you. As a tutor I will train you to think about each section logically and teach you how to interpret the test as literally as possible.
If I was able to improve my score over 200 points, then so can you.
