About Siva Dharshini

About Me I am a dedicated and professional tutor specializing in Science and Math for Grade 3 to Grade 6 students. With a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and hands-on experience working with children, I bring both strong subject knowledge and a patient, encouraging teaching style to every lesson. My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and personalized. I explain concepts clearly, use real-life examples to deepen understanding, and adapt each session to match the student’s learning needs. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and help students achieve consistent academic improvement. I value professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication. Students and parents can expect well-prepared lessons, reliable guidance, and a positive learning environment that motivates children to do their best. Based in Melbourne, I am committed to helping young learners enjoy Science and Math while developing strong study habits that will support them throughout their education.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring

I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new concepts. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas through real-life examples, visuals, and step-by-step explanations. I also regularly check for understanding and adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style, whether they prefer hands-on activities, visual aids, or guided practice.

A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, during which I balance concept explanation, practice exercises, and revision of previous topics. I also provide short recap notes or homework tasks when needed to reinforce learning.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and have experience working with children, which has helped me develop strong communication and classroom-management skills. I enjoy teaching and creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to do their best.

My lessons are designed for primary school students in Grades 3 to 6, especially those needing support in Science and Maths or wanting to build confidence and improve their academic performance.
