Learning often doesn't come easy, and forcing a topic will do more harm than good. My teaching approach lies along finding the parts one understands and enjoys, and emphasizing those elements throughout any struggling aspects. This has proven time and time again to be one of the most beneficial tactics I can provide as a tutor.

Athmar tutored my 7th grade son and she exceeded my expectations. When the sessions started, he was struggling with essay writing and proper grammar usage and by the end of their time together, I was amazed by how far he had gotten. I definitely recommend working with her!
Imagine liking math. I KNOW. But Athmar has that effect on her students, or at least me! You can definitely tell the difference between someone who HAS to teach vs someone who WANTS to teach. Athmar wants to.
Where to begin! Athmar has gone above and beyond for each of my writing needs and wants. Her secret weapon is showing how to fall in love with a subject you absolutely despise. Without her help, there is no way I could have maintained my 4.0 gpa
