About Emma
Hi! I’m Emma — a second-year business student at Western University, specializing in Consumer Behavior. I’m passionate about education, communication, and helping others feel confident in their abilities. I’ve always loved English, and over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in writing, grammar, reading comprehension, and essay development — all of which I now love sharing with students as a tutor. Outside of academics, I’m the founder and president of The Brand Lab, a student-led marketing club on campus, and I’ve worked in leadership and childcare roles where I’ve learned how to connect with students of all ages. I bring a kind, supportive, and motivating energy to every session, and I take pride in helping students grow — not just in their academics, but in their confidence too.

As a tutor, I focus on creating a welcoming, supportive, and confidence-boosting learning environment. My teaching methodology is centered around clarity, patience, and real-world application. I break down complex concepts into digestible, easy-to-understand pieces and guide students through interactive examples, practice questions, and thoughtful discussions to reinforce learning. My lessons are best suited for elementary to high school students looking for support in English — including reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and essay development. Whether your child needs help catching up or wants to strengthen their skills and confidence, I’m here to help them reach their goals in a fun, supportive, and effective way.
