About Louise
I am a qualified secondary Business Education teacher and have been teaching for five years, working full time as a Business and Pupil Support teacher. Before teaching, I worked in procurement, which gave me valuable real-world business experience.
Alongside teaching, I own and run my own business with staff, allowing me to bring practical, up-to-date examples into the classroom and tutoring sessions. This real-life experience helps pupils understand how business concepts work beyond textbooks and exams.
I am passionate about supporting young people to build confidence, develop skills and see the relevance of what they are learning.

I take a calm, supportive and friendly approach to tutoring, helping pupils build confidence as well as understanding. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s needs, with clear explanations and practical examples to help make learning feel manageable and enjoyable. I have experience supporting learners with additional support needs (ASN) and always aim to create an inclusive, encouraging environment.
Lessons usually last around 60 minutes, though this can be adapted if needed.
I am a qualified secondary Business Education teacher in East Renfrewshire with a BA (Hons) degree in Law and Business, and I teach Business, Administration and Accounts.
Tutoring is suitable for secondary school pupils at all levels, whether they need extra support, help preparing for assessments, or a confidence boost.
