About Stephanie

I am an experienced mathematics educator passionate about building math competency and confidence in all students. I have taught in both public and private schools for 22 years. I hold a clear California single subject teaching credential and complete regular background checks. In addition to classroom teaching, I have also served as the Faculty Supervisor for the school tutoring center, which requires me to monitor peer tutors, provide tutoring coaching and instruction to peer tutors, and offer tutoring services personally as needed. Whatever you need, I'm your mathematician and I'm here to help!

About the lesson

I have taught all levels of math from grades 7-12 for over two decades and helped my students achieve their goals through patient, creative instruction tailored to student needs. I am skilled at breaking down concepts and providing tangible examples that help illustrate and illuminate the concepts. Whether you love math and want to level up, or barely tolerate because it's a requirement, I am here to help you reach your academic goals and make it all make sense!
