About Rio
Hello, my name is Rio Akerboom. I am 15 years old. I'm a self-taught cartoonist and character designer. I use many artistic mediums, such as digital art, and traditional art, which incorporates pencil drawing and sometimes painting. I started practicing art at 5, sold my first art piece in 3rd grade and I wish to spread my knowledge for those interested in joining the world of art, as unfortunately it's not focused on as much in the world as it should be. I'd love to help you with coloring, style, anatomy, posing and positioning. I'll also teach you shape theory and color theory to make sure your art stands out and looks truly impressive, not just to others but yourself. I have a lot of experience in this field and would like to begin offering lessons to those interested. I focus on helping people develop their own art style, just with personalized guidance. I would love to help you on your journey!

Master Cartoon Art & Develop Your Unique Style with Personalized Lessons!
In this lesson, I will teach you how to draw or help you significantly improve your current art skills. I specialize in cartoonish and stylized art, similar to what you see in popular animated shows, but I also make sure to allow you the freedom to develop your own unique art style.
What You'll Learn:
Stylized Art Techniques: We’ll explore anatomy, shape language, and color theory to give your art a strong foundation while keeping it fun and expressive.
Creative Growth: I believe there's more than one "right" way to draw! You'll get the chance to experiment and shape your own style instead of following a rigid formula.
Hands-On Practice: We’ll spend time sketching, drawing, and coloring, working together to make sure you feel confident with your art.
Why Choose My Lessons?
-Focus on Individuality: I encourage students to embrace their own creativity and ensure they love the art they make.
-Supportive Environment: You’ll receive personalized feedback that will inspire growth and help you create captivating, enjoyable pieces.
-Cartoon Specialization: I focus on cartoon and stylized art, perfect for aspiring animators, comic artists, or anyone who loves the animated world!
