About Nathan

I've worked for 10+ years in the industry as a conceptual designer art director and all-rounder. I have taught design full time for three years. And would like to additionally help anyone that needs tutoring. I enjoy solving problems with people and helping them deepen their understanding and skills in design. Call me crazy but it's rewarding.

About the lesson

My strength lies in conceptual graphic design for advertising, and my expertise extends across various areas, including branding, digital media, print, editorial, and motion graphics. I have three years of experience teaching graphic design full-time, helping complete beginners progress from being unfamiliar with design software to securing their first job in the industry.

I will tailor my teaching approach to your specific learning goals. After listening to your needs, I will create a customized lesson plan to help you acquire the necessary skills in the most straightforward and professional manner. Additionally, I will provide you with comprehensive session notes and outline the next steps on your path to success.

I understand that your time is valuable, so I will ensure that our lesson plans are structured efficiently to cover as much content as possible within the allocated time. I have a library of resources that I've either created or sourced, which I'll be more than happy to share to support your journey in graphic design.

Typically, our lessons will last for 60 minutes. Prior to each session, you can inform me of the areas in which you need assistance. The lesson structure will follow a format similar to the one outlined below:
