About Evan

Hello, my name is Evan. I am a Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics Student at UCF in my senior year. I have experience in completing multiple levels of undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses that are required for my studies. I also have gained experience tutoring mathematics through my position tutoring student athletes at UCF and facilitating private lessons. I have tutored over 30 different students in mathematics with very high passing rates. Lastly, I am an easy going person and can adapt to many different learning situations. Please feel free to reach out!

About the lesson

When I facilitate a tutoring session, it is important for me to assess the students initial understanding of the material. Only from there can I start assisting the student with what they don't know. After the students masters the current material is when I feel that the student is comfortable to move on to more difficult topics. The gradual increase of difficulty while moving through the concepts is proven to be the most effective way to relay new material, especially in mathematics.

As a professional educator, I can attest to the proven methodologies and outcomes EVAN achieves for his students. EVAN takes pride and devotes energy and passion to assess his learner’s needs, identifies the knowledge gaps and develops and delivers a tailored tutoring plan for his students. He slowly links known to unknown concepts to stair step the learning for his students in his approach.
EVAN is a supportive and frankly fun tutor who makes learning fun and energizes his students.
