About Maria
About Me
My name is Maria. I am a Senior Lecturer with 5 years of university teaching experience at a Moscow state university. Specialist Diploma in Linguistics (Master's equivalent). Professional Retraining Diploma in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language from Moscow State University.
I was born and raised in Moscow and recently moved to the UK. I am a native Russian speaker with the standard Moscow accent. In addition to my academic work, I have 15+ years of teaching experience, including language schools in Moscow and private online tutoring.
My experience allows me to find the right approach for each student. I do not adapt the student to the system — I adapt the system to the student.
I work with students aged 16+ and adults.
