About Shammil

As a mathematics and actuarial science student at St. John’s University, I take both my studies and my teaching seriously. I’ve spent years mastering subjects like Precalculus and Calculus, and I use that knowledge to guide my students with patience, structure, and clarity. Every lesson I teach is carefully planned to make sure you learn efficiently and feel confident about your progress. I believe professionalism isn’t just about knowing math — it’s about showing up on time, being prepared, and giving my full attention to every student I work with. My students know they can rely on me to explain things clearly, answer every question, and help them reach their goals step by step. When you learn with me, you’re not just getting a tutor — you’re getting someone fully committed to your success.

About the lesson

Hey, I’m Shammil Shamsuri, and I make math feel simple and even fun to learn. I’ve helped many students who once struggled with Precalculus or Calculus finally say, “Oh, I get it now!” I study Mathematics and Actuarial Science at St. John’s University, so I know how to explain tough ideas in clear, step-by-step ways that actually make sense. My lessons aren’t just about solving problems — they’re about understanding why they work. I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I’ll adjust every session to your level, whether you’re just starting out or preparing for college exams. If you want someone who truly cares about your progress and makes learning math feel natural, I’m here to help you get there.
