About the lesson

I like to help all levels of ability in students. My teaching philosophy: why do I teach? I love teaching because it allows me to build relationships with students by connecting with them, and their individual abilities since this is one of the more rewarding aspects of teaching. I value having a good rapport with students and encourage some members that may need to be more supportive and respectful to others. I value self-reflection and strive to continually improve my practice. My teaching style and values should complement teaching Math as a rigorous subject and illustrating in an easy and innovative way.

Using this program challenged me, leading to further broadening of my mathematics abilities. I was able to connect and contribute methods used in earlier units to solve problems closer to the end of the year.
