About Simran
Hi, I’m Simran! I’m an English Literature student with a love for stories, creativity and the arts. Outside of university, I’m passionate about drama and theatre, and I enjoy exploring the different ways characters and stories can be brought to life.
I’m friendly, patient and enthusiastic, and I enjoy meeting new people and helping others feel comfortable and confident. My love for literature and theatre has made me appreciate how powerful language and storytelling can be, and I hope to share that enthusiasm with my students.

My lessons are friendly, interactive and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in their abilities.
Depending on the student’s age and goals, lessons may include reading and comprehension activities, spelling and grammar practice, creative writing, essay planning, analysing literary texts or working through GCSE-style questions. I break down difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps and use examples and discussion to make English feel more accessible and enjoyable.
