I have 10 years of teaching experience and 7 years of online tutoring experience. Brought up with Singapore Maths myself, I am a living testimony myself that the methodology works wonders. I am an Early Childhood Education Graduate Diploma holder. I can spot your child’s struggles, learning needs and learning style. From there I customise your child’s learning journey towards success.

Maths can be so abstract to kids. However, with Singapore Maths methodology, it eases the switch from Concrete to Pictorial to Abstract (CPA approach by Jerome Bruner). Even if your child does not learn using the Singapore Maths syllabus in school, your child can still greatly benefit from it when used as a tool to teach and strengthen their understanding and foundation for Maths. Children do not hate maths. They dislike the intimidation caused by it because they cannot comprehend it. They should know WHY they should calculate as such and not just "I don't know. I just memorise the formula."
Whatever school maths syllabus your child may be in, I will be able to strengthen and enhance your child's understanding using this methodology. Education is not a one size fits all. I'll tailor their learning using this and many other learning tools and methods.

Perfect! Teacher Theresa has been teaching both of my sons, Singapore Math, and I’m truly grateful that I found her through the platform.
What stands out most is her approach to teaching. She has extensive knowledge and experience in early childhood learning, which really shows in the way she handles my children. My younger son can sometimes be a little challenging to teach, even for me, but Teacher Theresa is incredibly patient and always knows how to engage him. She has a wonderful ability to explain concepts in a very simple and easy-to-understand way, making learning enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
She is also excellent at keeping children focused during online lessons. Her communication is always at the children’s level, making them feel comfortable, confident, and eager to participate. Both of my boys genuinely enjoy learning with her.
I’m very happy with the learning experience. I hope they can continue learning with her and gain as much knowledge as possible under her guidance. Excellent! We have been working with Theresa for several sessions now, meeting once a week for my 5yo boy's early numeracy learning journey.
What stands out most is her patience — she guides my kid through each session in a calm, child-friendly manner that keeps him engaged. Her structured approach, combining diagnostic assessment with the Finnish Inquiry Method, shows that she has put genuine thought into tailoring the learning experience rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I also appreciate that the programme goes beyond just Maths, weaving in elements of English and Science in a natural, exploratory way.

Perfect! Ma Theresa is a very passionate and committed tutor who is patient and well-prepared. She adapts her teaching well to suit my child’s learning style, and we have seen positive progress in understanding.
Areas to improve: Including more supplementary materials that are not limited to the textbook such as exam-style questions, revision notes, or enrichment worksheets which would further enhance the lessons.- Abigail is a bright girl. She has been absorbing her science lessons with me like a sponge! Her mind maps made with me during and after each lesson is clear and detailed. Theresa is an excellent and approachable tutor. My son has benefited a lot from her English and Math classes. She is very patient and clear in her explanations and always made sure he understood the concepts before moving on. The lessons were well structured, fun and engaging, which helped keep my son immersed in the lessons.
We noticed improvements in his confidence, especially in English. He became more comfortable asking questions and participating during lessons.

When I first learned English, I could not understand anything but after I studied with her, I managed to pass my exam with good scores for all my subjects, and I could speak English after months. She is very good at teaching and her explanation is very understandable.

I believe children learn best through interaction. I offer a Buddy Class rate of RM55/hour per student (2 students). This allows your child to learn alongside a friend or classmate, promoting healthy competition and collaborative problem-solving, while providing you with a significant discount on my standard 1-on-1 rate of RM75.
I am happy to teach a Buddy Class at RM55/hr if you have a friend or classmate who would like to join the session.
