About Kira

I have been teaching singing for 2 years as I took it up whilst studying for my BA Music degree, in which I majored in vocal performance. After achieving a 1st Class in my degree, I then continued teaching singing and have loved inspiring and instilling confidence in singers, no matter what stage they are at in their musical journey.

About the lesson

I will always begin by finding out what musical style you love to sing in or want to get better at and then work from there at getting you more confident in singing. I will teach you helpful warmup exercises to do at home and some techniques to improve your voice also, I will provide song choices to help stretch and challenge you as well as having fun and singing through some classics.

A talented musician and singer, and a lovely, caring person, Kira is also great at teaching others. I have seen her with both children and adults and she is well prepared, patient and encouraging, working with each at their own level yet motivating and supporting them to improve and to achieve their goals.

Kira is highly talented, and very friendly, who would put anyone feeling nervous, at ease. She is one of those people who can spin many plates simultaneously, so there will never be a moment wasted. Learning to sing with Kira is a treat.
