Hi, I'm Jennifer Hennigan – a professional photographer with over 15 years of experience behind the lens and a passion for helping others master their craft. After building a successful six-figure photography business specializing in boudoir, branding, and lifestyle portraiture, I now teach aspiring photographers how to develop their technical skills, artistic eye, and confidence—both creatively and professionally. Whether you're just picking up a camera or you're ready to refine your portfolio and start charging for your work, I offer a practical, results-driven approach designed to help you grow. My lessons are structured, clear, and completely tailored to your goals. I meet you where you are, explain concepts in ways that make sense, and give you the tools and feedback you need to make real progress. Photography is equal parts skill and mindset—and my job is to help you build both.

About the lesson

I believe the best photography lessons are hands-on, customized, and grounded in real-world experience. Whether you're learning in-person or virtually, I tailor each lesson to your goals, gear, and experience level. I break down technical concepts like lighting, posing, and editing in ways that are easy to understand and instantly applicable.

You’ll learn not just how to take great photos, but why certain techniques work—so you can build your confidence behind the camera and develop your own creative voice.

️ What a Typical Lesson Looks Like

Each 60-minute session includes:

5–10 minutes – Goal check-in and review of past assignments

15–25 minutes – Step-by-step instruction (based on your focus area: manual shooting, natural light, flash, editing, etc.)

20–30 minutes – Live practice, editing walkthrough, or portfolio critique

Wrap-up – Actionable next steps and optional assignments to apply what you've learned

Online students get screen-sharing demos, real-time feedback, and access to recorded lessons (if requested).
