About Rinnah

I'm really passionate about teaching online sessions for GCSE sciences and Maths. My enthusiasm for these subjects shines through in every lesson, making learning engaging and enjoyable for my students. Achieving a grade 9 in Chemistry and grade 8s in the other three subjects reflects my strong understanding and mastery of the material. I love breaking down complex concepts into simpler ideas, helping students grasp difficult topics with ease. Seeing their progress and confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, and I strive to create a supportive environment where everyone can succeed and develop a genuine interest in learning.

About the lesson

For a one-hour GCSE tutoring session, here's a summarized structure:

1. Introduction (5 minutes): Start with a quick review of the previous session and any homework to engage the student.

2. Direct Instruction (15 minutes): Introduce new concepts or topics using examples to clarify understanding.

3. Guided Practice (20 minutes): Work through problems together, encouraging questions and critical thinking to reinforce learning.

4. Independent Practice (10 minutes): Give the student exercises to complete on their own to assess their understanding.

5. Recap (10 minutes): Review what was learned, address any questions, and set goals for the next session to reinforce the material.
