About Vanessa
I'm a grad student of psychology who has been writing professionally since I was a teenager. I love teaching and imparting knowledge because I view it as an avenue for both myself and the student to learn. I do a lot of volunteer work and I feel that has trained me to work with any kind of person and to teach with patience and compassion. English and the literary arts has always been my passion and I hope to be able to share that love with you.

Learning is a personal journey and my lesson plan would be tailored just for you. For beginners to literature and literacy, we’d focus on pronunciation and building confidence while reading. For people who already have some comfort with the language, we learn how to dissect written work, understand it and because versed in literary terms and their implications to help us fall in love with the world of English literature, from classics to modern works. For hopeful writers or writers willing to improve on their creative writing, lessons are available to help you use words, punctuation, and imagery, to better tell your story and help you get more creative and feel at home as you write.
