About RAPHAEL

Meet Your Tutor: Mr. Adigwu Raphael

I hold a Bachelor's degree in French from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and a Master's degree in French from the University of Lagos. My passion for the French language runs deep, and I’m dedicated to sharing its richness and beauty with learners of all backgrounds.

As a tutor, I bring reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility to every lesson. I am punctual, well-organized, and consistently prepared, ensuring each session is structured and productive. I take great care in tracking my students' progress and tailoring my approach to meet their evolving needs.

My deep understanding of the French language allows me to simplify complex concepts and explain them in a clear, accessible manner—always adapted to your level. This ensures not only better comprehension but also greater confidence as you advance in your learning journey.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach: Personalized, Practical, and Progress-Driven

Every learner is different, and I believe language lessons should reflect that. My methodology is built around your interests, goals, and natural learning rhythm, making each session meaningful and memorable. Whether you're learning French for travel, work, studies, or personal enrichment, I adapt our lessons to keep you engaged while ensuring consistent progress.

What Makes My Lessons Different?
Instead of overwhelming you with grammar rules right away, I prioritize real-life communication from day one. We focus on practical use, not just textbook theory. I design each session to balance speaking, listening, reading, and writing, ensuring that all skills grow together in harmony.

A Typical Lesson Includes:

Warm-up in French – A quick chat to practice what you’ve learned and ease into the language.

Core Topic Introduction – Clear, bite-sized explanation of the day’s focus (e.g., greetings, verbs, sentence structure).

Interactive Practice – Role-playing, real-life dialogues, or creative tasks to apply what you’ve learned.

Quick Grammar Insight – A simple breakdown of important grammar points without overcomplicating things.

Cultural Connection – Learn idiomatic expressions, French customs, or a fun fact to deepen your understanding.

Personal Feedback & Recap – Constructive notes on what went well and how to improve, with clear goals for next time.

Why It Works
My approach is rooted in building confidence. I create a relaxed, respectful environment where you're encouraged to take risks and speak without fear of making mistakes. As we move forward, I tailor the content to your pace and interests, which not only keeps lessons enjoyable but also makes the learning stick.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to polish your skills, I will guide you step-by-step, helping you become an independent and confident French speaker.
