About Ian

I have been based in Javea, Valencia, Spain, for the past 5 years working for Lindas Language Centre. From here I transferred my Business English Skills into providing Spanish students with rich conversation while developing their listening, reading and writing skills. I have now relocated to the UK where i continue to teach Spanish students online.

About the lesson

I am friendly, patient and understanding of my students needs. My tutoring methology is to create a fun filled hour with lots of topical conversation and to encourage all students to be creative in the use of speaking and writing in English. I use materials from Gold and the British Council to enhance my classes. Corrections during student speaking are made verbally and in writing where after each lesson the student receives class notes outlining any verbal and correctional sentence observations. I am not a grammar teacher but a tutor who specialises in increasing the level of the students vocabulary in the English language.

Es un profesor métodico y eficaz, he mejorado mucho desde que voy a sus clases. Insistente y peculiar a la hora de la enseñanza, sin darme cuenta mi nivel de inglés mejoro muchísimo. Es muy divertido y más que tu profesor acabará siendo tu amigo.

He is a methodical and effective teacher, I have improved a lot since I went to his classes. Insistent and peculiar at the time of teaching, without realizing my level of English I improved a lot. It is very fun and more than that your teacher will end up being your friend.
