Teaching Techniques and Methods:
Interactive Learning: I make sure my students are not just passive listeners but active participants. I ask questions, encourage discussion, and adapt based on their responses.
Simplification and Analogies: I break down complex ideas into simple, relatable terms. I love using real-world examples or analogies (like comparing cells to factories or programming to cooking).
Layered Learning: I build knowledge step by step — starting with the basics and gradually adding depth as students get comfortable.
Use of Visuals and Technology: Diagrams, charts, videos, and even AI tools help me bring abstract concepts to life.
Check for Understanding: Frequent quick quizzes, summaries, and encouraging students to explain the concept back to me — to ensure they truly get it.
Usual Structure of a Class:
Warm-up (5 mins): A quick recap or a fun question to activate prior knowledge.
Introduction (10 mins): Explain the day's objective and connect it to what they already know.
Main Lesson (20-30 mins): Teach the new concept using explanation, examples, and visuals.
Practice (10-15 mins): Interactive activity, problem-solving, or discussion.
Wrap-up (5 mins): Summary of key points, address doubts, and give a hint of what’s coming next.
Optional Homework: Short, meaningful tasks that reinforce learning without overwhelming.
(Timings may differ according to the student)
Special Features as a Teacher:
Patient and Adaptive: I notice where students struggle and change my method right away.
Positive and Encouraging: I celebrate progress, no matter how small, which helps build confidence.
Tech-Savvy: I blend traditional teaching with modern tools like educational apps, simulations, and AI-based learning aids.
Focus on Conceptual Understanding: I aim for deep understanding, not rote memorization.
Target Audience:
My style works best for middle school to college-level students.
I also adapt well for adult learners
I can adjust for younger school children but usually with more visuals and interactive games.
