About Joe
A first year Sociology student, with A-Levels in Geography and Politics too, I know the ins and outs of these subjects like the back of my hand. Additionally, I have had about a year of tutoring experience, both to groups of 6 and to individuals. I can deliver: clear and concise explanations, open questions, visual props and anything else needed.

My teaching method is as follows:
I always open the class with a little non-academic chat, as I want the tutee to feel comfortable with me.
We will use powerpoint, following lesson structures similar to ones I had in school/college, although I will always use visuals and examples of work that I have created, and most importantly I can set the pace to the tutee’s needs, something that can’t be offered in school.
I will write notes on the tutee’s progress, and what they found difficult, and relay them back to parents online or on email if requested.
