About Mohammad
My name is Mohammad Alshoul, and I am a SolidWorks Certified Professional, mechanical engineer, and Ph.D. candidate in Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University.
I bring several years of real industry experience using SolidWorks and CAD/CAM for product design, machine design, assemblies, sheet metal, weldments, engineering drawings, CNC toolpaths, and manufacturing support. I have designed and improved real products, created fabrication-ready drawings, programmed manufacturing operations, and worked directly with fabrication and quality-control teams.
I hold more than six SolidWorks certifications, including Certified SolidWorks Professional credentials in Mechanical Design, Sheet Metal, Weldments, Drawing Tools, Surfacing, and Mold Tools. I also have experience with SolidCAM, Mastercam, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and CNC programming.
Alongside my professional work, I have taught and mentored university students in engineering, manufacturing, and design projects. I understand the challenges students face when learning CAD software, and I explain concepts clearly, patiently, and practically. My goal is to help students not only complete their projects, but also develop the confidence to create professional models and manufacturing-ready designs on their own.

I am Mohammad, a certified SolidWorks professional and engineer with extensive real-world experience in product design, CAD/CAM, CNC machining, manufacturing, quality improvement, and mechanical systems. I have earned more than six SolidWorks certifications and bring the practical perspective that students often do not get from a textbook alone.
My lessons are designed to help you understand SolidWorks with confidence, not just memorize clicks. I teach step by step and explain the engineering thinking behind every model: how to choose dimensions, organize features, build assemblies, create proper drawings, avoid common mistakes, and design parts that can actually be manufactured.
Lessons take place live through Zoom with video instruction, screen sharing, and real-time feedback. When helpful, I can use remote screen control to guide you directly in your own workspace, troubleshoot an issue, or demonstrate a better workflow while you follow along.
A typical lesson starts with your goal or challenge, followed by a clear demonstration and guided hands-on practice. We finish by reviewing your work and identifying what to practice next. Every lesson is customized to your pace and project.
These lessons are ideal for complete beginners, high school and college students, engineering and design students, and professionals. I can help with SolidWorks assignments, CAD projects, assemblies, drawings, sheet metal, product ideas, portfolios, CAD/CAM, and CNC preparation.
