About Keston

My name is Keston. I knew zero Japanese when I moved to Japan at 13. 7 years later I’m fluent. Because I learned through an experience of an English speaker, I can teach it better than my own Japanese friends who grew up in Japan because they never needed to learn the hard way. They just grew up with it.

About the lesson

Learn the mouth movements that made me sound like a native. Learn the secrets of mastering hiragana and katakana quickly. Have Japanese conversation with me about anything. Learn about life in Japan from a foreigner who lived in Tokyo for 7 years

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Keston.

Excellent! HUGE fan! Learning from a Japanese speaker who's not Japanese has been really helpful for practicing conversations a foreigner like me is likely to have in Japan. Plus Keston is really easy to hang out with and makes learning fun.
