About Katie
I am a dedicated psychology student with a strong interest in writing, communication, and helping others learn. I have experience with academic writing, research, grammar, and communicating ideas clearly through my own college studies. I am patient, understanding, and willing to work with students at different learning levels. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without feeling judged. I work with elementary through high school students and will do my best to make each lesson clear, encouraging, and useful.

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and adapted to each student’s needs. I teach writing, English, grammar, and communication to students from elementary through high school. A typical lesson may include reviewing what the student is currently learning, explaining difficult concepts in simple terms, practicing together, and working through examples. I encourage questions and focus on making students feel comfortable while they learn. I can help with spelling, grammar, sentence structure, reading comprehension, essays, writing assignments, vocabulary, and communication skills. My goal is to help students improve at their own pace while building confidence in their abilities.
