About Dharaa
THIS was my 2017 resolution: ‘Live every moment with joy, happiness and with vision.’ I have so many people around me who are disappointed, sad, dismayed and unhappy with their life. They are stressed about small things and ruin their lives overthinking it. I have always come across as a positive and cheerful person who can spend an hour with a stranger talking and motivating him/her.
I believe I can get rid of negative vibes from a person. So, I decided to put this trait to good use, and share my idea with the likeminded through Facebook. Within a day, I got as many as 200 responses – ‘We were looking for this kind of platform and finally, there is a ray of hope.’ With this initiative, I wanted to convey to them: ‘You are not alone – a human is near you’ (which also happens to be the name of the page).
The idea and initiative were appreciated. We are a team of five members now, and have organised three meets so far. People have got the platform to share their stories and raise questions for which they can get answers. Majority of them felt better and motivated after they got a platform to share and found likeminded and mature people to hear them out and guide them.
Anyone can drop a message on our page, and one of us will approach him/ her. Quite a few psychologists have shown interest in supporting such people free of cost through this initiative after I created the page. All I want to do is spread happiness, cheer, and make everyone feel that ‘A human is near’. I am happy to have been successful so far. I believe, if you want to be truly happy, leave arrogance, attitude and fear behind and try to interact positively with everyone.

I try to make the person more open up. When you are depress, you have many thing in your mind which you are not able to share with any. Sharing is gaining. I do not only make my friends comfortable , motivate them and make them stronger to fight back but I help them to solve their issue being friend (At least Human) :)
