About Lewys

Hi, I'm Lewys! I recently finished my degree at the University of Bristol where I studied Spanish and Portuguese.

I'm now working at Instituto Cervantes, a public institution created by the Spanish government to encourage the teaching of Spanish.

I have tutored Spanish for 4 years as well as having taught English as a foreign language at a school in Barcelona for 4 months, both in person and on Zoom.

I started learning Spanish through a tutor when I was 10 and it completely changed my life. I believe that learning a language can, and should be, so much more than just passing an exam, although that is what we're here for!

With me, we will practice written and spoken communication skills that will serve for the exams, but also later in life.

About the lesson

Fun and interactive classes practising written, oral and aural skills. My methodology involves exercises, quizzes and games that bring about progress by using students' own competitive nature.

Typical length of lesson is 40 minutes to 1 hour. For classes with 2 students or more, 1 hour classes are recommended.

Lessons are best tailored to those completing GCSE and A Level classes but also offer casual conversation classes to build confidence
