About Jillian
I have an MA in Spanish and a BA in Spanish and English. I’ve been tutoring and teaching for over ten years. The biggest complaint I’ve received so far is that I jumped into Spanish the first day and it was overwhelming.

For language I use a communicative approach to try to replicate an immersive environment. Lots of comprehensible input! People love when their homework is to watch a movie or when sessions involve playing games. I try to balance fun activities with the occasional worksheet.

Jillian is the best tutor I have EVER HAD! I have been meeting with her for two years now and I look forward to every meeting. She helps me with absolutely everything I need help with and helps me succeed in school. Jillian is the one to call!!
My son has been taking lessons with Jillian for English for the last 7 months. He is a freshmen taking advanced standing English and I have seen improvements in his writing and critical thinking skills. I recommend Jillian and we will be continuing with her sophomore year.
