About Rebecca

In 2014 and 2015 I worked a lot with foreign youth groups in central London teaching english language sessions in a relaxed but effective way as well as working as an au pair teaching english to twin girls.

I graduated from an International Media & Communications with Spanish degree about 4 years ago from the University of Nottingham which included modules such as the exploration of gloabilization, public relations, communications and the impact of social and cultural changes whilst offering extra language-learning opportunities within which I undertook a 1-year course in beginners Mandarin.

I also completed both Maths & Spanish A levels at school gaining a B and an A respectively.

I'm looking to pass on my knowledge for a few hours a week in the local area surrounding Hackney!

Alys

Rebecca is hard working and focused. She sets high standards for both her herself and others, making sure that her students work to their highest capability.
Rebeccas has strong subject knowledge that has been gained through University level Spanish and avid travelling. This combined with her enthusiasm for teaching and learning, means she would be both an engaging and dynamic language teacher. As a friend, she is consistently supportive, caring and reliable. These qualities, I believe make her an excellent role model and support for young learners. Enabling children to have a growth mind set, allowing them to do develop the resilience which is key in making rapid progress in learning.
