About Thomas
I am a foreign language teacher with experience teaching Spanish and English as second languages. I volunteered as a tutor for a year and a half at a Spanish language immersion school for elementary school students. I also volunteered for four years as a tutor for children of refugee families, helping them with schoolwork as well as competency in English. In college, I got my BA in Spanish and studied for a semester in Córdoba, Argentina. After graduating, I lived and worked for a year and a half in Santiago, Chile.

My teaching approach is all about student engagement. When it comes to foreign language learning, one must participate in order to really learn and grasp the language. Whether you want to learn to speak, write, or understand better, I'll make sure you have the opportunity to practice as much as possible. I'm open to teaching all levels and all ages!
