About Summer

I’ve always loved learning languages, and Spanish quickly became one of my favourites because of how beautiful it is. Tutoring gives me the chance to share that passion and help others enjoy learning too. I really enjoy supporting students at different stages—whether you’re preparing for an exam, learning for travel, or just starting. Seeing learners grow in confidence and actually use Spanish in real life is the best part of teaching for me.

About the lesson

I focus on creating interactive, student-centred lessons that balance grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I adapt my teaching style to the learner’s goals—whether conversational fluency, exam preparation, or professional Spanish. Lessons typically involve real-life contexts, role-plays, and cultural insights to make the language practical and engaging. I also use scaffolding: breaking down complex grammar into simple steps and building confidence through guided practice before moving to independent use. A standard lesson is 30-60 minutes, depending on what your desired length is! I hold an A at a level and an A* at GCSE. I have tutored family, friends and also younger year groups at school. I can teach from complete beginners to advanced!
