About Ruggero
I'm Ruggero, a spatial designer based in Manchester. I graduated in architecture from Università Iuav di Venezia and am qualified to practise in Italy. While studying, I taught SketchUp privately for two years.
For around twenty years SketchUp has been my main working tool. I've used it to design shops, fixtures and international store rollouts for Replay, JD Sports and Clarks, as well as interiors, exhibitions, installations and, right now, a theatre set. The model was never the end product. It had to convince a client, brief a contractor and survive a deadline.
That's what I teach: not every button, but the habits that keep a model clean, fast and usable when the project gets real.

The free first half hour is for understanding where you are and what you need. From there, there are three ways to work with me.
Learning from scratch. We start with how SketchUp thinks, then the few habits that save you hours later. You'll be modelling something of your own from the first lesson.
Levelling up. You already use SketchUp, but it feels slow or messy. We work on your own project (a room, a shop, a piece of furniture, a stage set, a portfolio piece) and fix the method behind it, so your next model is faster on its own.
Solving a specific problem. A file that crashes or crawls, geometry that won't behave, a model that won't line up, an old paper survey you need in 3D, or a workflow from SketchUp to drawings and images that doesn't hold together. Bring it, and we work through it.
In every lesson I explain the reasoning first, then you do it while I guide you. I tell you early what matters and what you can skip. The aim is for you to stop needing me.
